Any Info - Lori of Radiance Salon?

Does anyone out there have any info on where Lori (hairstylist) of Radiance Salon went? Apparently she left Radiance suddenly this week and they will (naturally) not provide any information on where she has gone. I only went to her once but it was definitely one of the best haircuts I've ever had and I was planning on having her cut my hair indefinitely! If anyone has any info I would certainly appreciate it.

In the meantime I have an appointment with one of the Eclips stylists recommended in this forum -- thank you for the recommendations!

 

I think she's probably left the area. Last time I went to get my hair done by her she was talking about having had interviews in NC & NYC and wanting to move onto greener pastures. This was not to be her forever place to live/work. Unfortunately it sounds like it happened sooner than later. She definitely did a good cut.

 

I have an appointment with Micky (not sure if that's how she spells her name). Anyone have any experience with her. I haven't had a good cut in years!

 

Mickey is a he, and I had a cut and highlight with him about 3 months ago. It was ok -- the color was great, the cut so-so.

 

Elizabeth at Radiance is excellent!

 

I used Mickey recently and he was okay. Not sure that I'd go back honestly.

 

JenTimC -- thanks so much for the info, I know they said she's been away on weekends, so she was probably preparing for a move. Tyger31, I totally agree with you about Elizabeth, but the problem is that she is impossible to get in to see! Last time I called it was a wait of several weeks for an appointment with her.

 

Well, I had my appointment with Mickey. Love the color and really like the cut. I'd say I had a very good experience and would let him do my hair again.

Elizabeth is really hard to get an appt. with - that's because she's so good! However, once you go to her - make an appt. before you leave for your next cut. That way it won't be so long of a wait.

 

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd share what I heard. I got a cut there a few weeks ago and was told that Lori moved to be near her ailing grandfather. Apparently they are very close, her grandfather is sick and perhaps dying so she moved to another state to take care of him. The person who told me this news didn't recall to which state she moved.

 

My husband only trusts Micky with his hair. I've never had my hair done by him, but he does a great job with my husband. =)

 

Both my wife and I go to Mickey and we're both happy.

 

Does Radiance Salon have a website? I can't find anything in google.

I think I remember someone mentioning that she moved to Merrifield? I think it was in this forum. Maybe do a search for an earlier thread.
