Duct Work Cleaning?

Now that the construction has moved away from my house I'm looking to have my duct work cleaned out. I'm sure there is a lot of construction debris and dust in the system and with our allergies it would be good to have them cleaned. Does anyone have a recommendation on a good company that can clean out heating/ac ducts? I'm looking for a more thorough cleaning than just shoving a vacuum down the through the duct work.

When we were in alexandria we had our ducts cleaned by Cyprus Air. It was something like $25 a vent. They have a huge hepa vac that sucks all this stuff out and then they can treat the ducts against mold.

Anyway, I can recommend them, they were good.

We used United Air Service (?). Not too happy-they had 2 trainees doing the work and the sales guy trying to push extra "services" on us. They missed a vent which we had paid for, and had to come back out... Would not use them again.

 

We used Pure Air Service (at least I think that's their name) about 2 years ago. The guy has been in this business for a long time. We were pleased with them. Seems like a real honest man. Their number is 703.522.4551
