Trash Collection at 6:00 AM!

I know this topic has been addressed before, but last Sat., when the trash was collected, I was awakened at 6:40 a.m. and now today, they were coming down Vestals Gap/Springwell Drive at 6:00 a.m. Thought they weren't supposed to start until 7 a.m.?

 

tyger31 is right I was up and heading out and sure enough here they come rumbling dowm the street. I always have mine out the night before as this is an ongoing issue.

 

Due to the snow on Friday...trash was not picked up...in order to get everyone picked up on Sat and not have trash sitting out until Mon or Tues they did start early...however today they should have started at 7...We will call again to get this enforced...

On Tuesday, I saw the trash truck down our street at 6.35 am. I was really surprised to see them.

 

Well - they started down my street before 6am as I was leaving for work - that REALLY surprised me!!!!

 

In the last several weeks, AAA has consistently been starting trash pickup over on Vestals Gap Dr. at 7 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. or earlier as they had been doing. The change came about after HOA strongly communicated to AAA that they need to follow the rules, which call for pick up no earlier than 7 a.m.

Let's keep monitoring the situation, but at least in my neck of the woods the situation has gotten a lot better.
