painter reco - Faux Finish

    I just did a search on painter recommendations and found some great information on general painters (thanks), but I was wondering if anyone had some insights/recommendations for someone who could do a faux finish for my kitchen. I'm looking for a textured/marbled look. Any info would be very helpful. THANKS!

    Jeanne Marceron--former S. Riding res--has her own decorating and faux painting business. A lot of people here have used her services, and have been very satisfied. She is still in Loudoun.

    We did a Faux Finish ourselves [leathering]. It wasn't too bad to do, Home Depot has great resources on how to do it. Marbleing is just base coat + glaze, with the ragging technique.

    Well, unfortunately we are certainly not brave enough to try it ourselves - we are not exactly "do-it-yourselfers".

    Barbara - would you have any idea where Jeanne Marceron lives now? I just tried to look up her number and couldn't find anything. If you happen to have a phone number for her that would be great. THANKS!
