My son had such a great experience at Keyboard 4 Kids camp today (thanks to the suggestions from a previous post), that now his twin wants to take drum lessons. Okay, so we may be crazy but I am all for it. Now, any suggestions where to find a good drum teacher for a 7 year old boy?

Check out melody music in sterling. They have drum lessons there.

Are the lessons at a specific location or in your home? Any other instruments?

    Thanks for the referral!

Currently lessons for Drums are at his house. I know he rents out some rooms at the Luthern Church on Waxpool on Saturdays. He is in the process of building out a new location in the business park off of Waxpool. He does teach other instruments but not exactly sure what they are other than guitar.

I've got my drum kit in the basement. You can barely hear it outside with me banging as hard as I can on them. My wife and I did the test :) I was actually shocked it was as quiet as it was.

Larry may be a good teacher but we had an awful experience with his wife Ann Marie who was rude and unprofessional when we forgot to bring a check one week. She cancelled our next lesson without calling us and then made a big fuss about it in front of my daughter. We switched to Keyboards for Kids and have been very happy with the quality of the teaching not to mention that they run the business in an office park instead of out of a townhouse basement. I can't imagine what the neighbors have to say about the noise.

I inquired regarding drum lessons at Keyboard for Kids and was told they are not offering them -- who is your teacher there?
