Has anyone attending the wednesday night auctions at Tillett's. (I think that is what it's called) It's the cinderblock building on Belmont Ridge Road, just south of Truro Parish.

I've gone a once, just to see. Nothing there I couldn't live with, all sorts of stuff though.

We went a few times and it really depends on the day as to what you can find. SOme days it's junk, others it's not. We bought 3 Cherry end tables for $15 dollars.

ok, sorry for the ignorance, but I thought that this place only had car auctions? What do they feature there and is there a consistent category of stuff to expect. Also, what are the hours for the Wed sessions? thanks in advance...

I've been going there for a few years for their Wed. night auctions. They didn't hold them this summer :( but they are back. I've gotten everything from an antique wing back chair ($2.00) to a set of 3 cherry tables ($45.00) to my added Blue Danube China (service for 6.. 45.00 savings of about 400 dollars..if not more) You just never know what they will have. Some weeks you can find a bunch..other weeks you can go and just watch and have fun.

Do you know what time they start on Wednesday? I go by there on my way home from work and it seems underway already.
