    Hello,

I am looking to obtain some recommendations for a good licensed clinical psychologist. One that focuses on working with young children (specifically the 4-8 year old range). Someone who accepts major medical insurance.

The child's pediatrician office has been consulted, however there where only a few choices and the insurance requirement was lacking.

Feel free to email me directly.

    Thanks!

Have you tried your insurance company's website? That's how I find lists of dr's and then I ask for a rec. from one of my present dr's based on the names found.

If you need a psychiatrist for medicine purposes, in my experience pretty much no psychiatrist is covered for those under 14 years old. However, you can try this office. I cannot remember the name, but here is the address:

    20905 Professional Plz #220
    Ashburn , VA 20147
    (703) 858-9841

I won't vouch for their quality because I haven't liked any doctor we have seen in several practices, but I know they take insurance and are in Ashburn.
