I'm looking for nice quality (but not as nice/expensive as Pottery Barn Kids) for my son's big boy room when he turns 2. We're looking for twin or full bed, dresser, night stand, maybe a little table and toybox/storage unit. Does Belfort sell kids furniture like that? Anywhere else in this area I can look at toddler furniture in person?

We just ordered toddler furniture for our daughter who is turning two. I looked at Hagerty's, Pier 1 Import Kids, Baby 2 Teen (in Manassas) and Belfort Kids. We really liked the Stanley kids furniture line that both Belfort and Baby2Teen carried. Baby2Teen had better prices than Belfort, but Belfort price matched them plus 10% of the difference (since we have ordered quite a bit from Belfort we went with them). Hope this helps!

I think Lazy Boy in the new Ashbrook Commons (where Harris Teeter is) also has a nice selection of kids' furniture. Not too expensive, but not cheap either.

When we were looking, we looked at Baby2Teen and the others, too. Most of the stores have catalogs that you can order from if they don't have something you like in stock. We ended up buying a twin bed in wonderful condition at a garage sale and keeping the dresser we already had. They don't match, though. It's hard to find twin beds in stores (that aren't bunk beds); full size is a little easier if you have the space. Furniture.com might be a good place to look, too, if they deliver to our area.

I thought Baby2Teen was pretty good with selection and price and would add another recommendation for them. And also, like it was mentioned, Belfort will price match and you can also push them for free delivery to sweeten the deal if that helps.

PBK actually sold us a floor model of the bed we wanted for our kid at 50% off. It was in perfect condition. I think we got lucky, but it never hurts to ask.
