I use it morning and evening to get into DC -- however I have been able to get my employer to reimburse me for the tolls (they said no to a car allowance) as well as set me up to telework two days a week.

Yes, use it daily. If I'm not on it by 6:50am or so, the Toll Road starts becoming a parking lot after 7am. :(

I'm commuting ~38miles each way, and I get to enjoy all the goodies, Greenway, Toll Road, 495, then I have a choice: Rt 7E, 395N, Gallows to Columbia Pike or Rt 50E - each has their moments!

I really need to start looking at working closer :)

Yes, we both use it all the time! Living the "hinterlands" of Leesburg area--it is the best way to go for us all around. Hubby uses Toll Road to and fro to Chantilly at Grumman. Since he works his own schedule he usually leaves around 6 am and arrives at office by 7 am and leaves by 4 pm daily. Sometimes traffic is snarled as well as other routes.

I use the Toll Road when I commute to University of Maryland lately for research work on my post grad courses. Even though I am currently taking Food Science and Nutrition classes online through Kansas State University, I am having to use University of Maryland's Food Science departments for some research. I also lead the IFT chapter at University of Maryland in College Park. Institute of Food Technology (IFT) chapter is in College Park so I use commuter trains and the Toll Road some times.

I like commuting on the Toll Road in off and on peak times. To us, the "extra fees" are nominal compared to sitting on Route 7. I would rather pay fees than wait needlessly in traffic.
