Seeking Responsible Backup Babysitter..

We have one wonderful babysitter who we and our son adore. However, with no family in the area to help us and lots of things going on, we would like to add another care giver to our roster of people to call when we need help in a pinch or when our usual caregiver is not available. I know most families have a couple of babysitters to call when they need to go out so they are not dependent on one person's schedule.

Please Email me if you can recommend your sitter for an occassional job watching one very well behaved 15 month old boy in Broadlands for a few hours at a time. (He's usually sleeping most of the time we are out anyway). Hourly rate based on age and experience.

Would be willing to consider responsible teenager as well with experience.

Speaking of babysitters . . . has anyone had any success with the list in the Broadlands newsletter? I've called a couple of names on the list and haven't even been given a call back and I am having a hard time finding someone.

 

My son Connor is an experienced sitter and is listed in the Broadlands directory.

 

Still seeking responses for a backup babysitter. Not someone just seasonal for the summer, but I'm looking for year round help, perhaps from a teenager that might be less expensive and willing to help out with Mother's Helper type duties this fall. I am a sister of a broadlands resident who will be here this summer and I'm still available for the occassional night or weekend job. I plan on moving here when I graduate college in December with an elementary education degree so while I won't be available for you in the fall, I will be back by January. I have tons of babysitting experience (over 8 years) with all different ages of children. I have a 13 year old daughter that is available many afternoons and can give references from many Broadlands residents. She has full babysitting training including CPR. What kind of time commitment are you looking for?

 

Hi I am a local college student with extensive certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and even an LGI. I am available for babysitting and can give references from other families that have used me. I run one of the local pools, coach a Fairfax County High School Softball Team and go to school full time.

 

I am 19 years old and I currently work part time. I am free evenings after 6 and weekends at any time. I have been babysitting the children of family friends since I was 14. Though I do need to get my re-certification in CPR and First Aid, I still consider myself knowledgable of these things.

We are looking for a babysitter for our twin 2.5 yr olds in the broadlands for Friday the 18th of May in the morning (probably like 8 - 11:30 or so).... and would like the person to come and do some babysitting "sometime" earlier just to get to know the kids......
