any change of light at the safeway interestection?

    I was curious if anyone knew if there were plans to put in a light at the interestection of Broadlands Blvd and Claiborne Parkway. I personally REALLY REALLY hate that intersection - to the point were I would normally go to the Safeway there, but I won't because I don't want to go straight across Claiborne and would rather not turn left either. There's just too much stuff going on there.

    This came up at the Homeowners' Association meeting last night. They said that there are no plans for a light at Claiborne and Broadlands to be put in before 2005. It's still in the application process. A light will be coming to Waxpool and Claiborne some time this summer. Also, Broadlands Boulevard will be extended to Belmont Ridge at some point (I didn't hear when).
