    Fellow Foodies--

    Just thought I would inform "y'all" about Harris Teeter (HT) having TRIPLE COUPONS WEDNESDAY, 08/12/09-TUESDAY, 08/18/09. It was posted on the web site of Hot Coupon World.

    On the "Grocery Stores..." forum, check out the "Harris Teeter..." sub-forum for post regarding what will be on sale for Triples and match-ups for coupons, etc. Also, re-read my past threads about couponing and how to "stack" and "piggyback" your coupons. HT does accept Competitior Coupons--just read Hot Coupon World or my information.

    Even though we farm and produce our own meats, baked goods, canned goods, dairy, cheese, butter, ice cream, and produce, etc., I still shop at HT for some things. Unfortunately, even though we have alot of trees, I cannot "grow" paper products (i.e. paper towels and toilet paper).:shakehead:;). Our household of 2 adults and 6 kids goes through alot of paper products.:scaredeyes:

    Has anyone shopped at HT for Triple coupons yet? Great deals to be had!

    Also, curious of what you thought of Hot Coupon World's site for info?

    I've been using Hot Coupon World since you mentioned in back in January. Love the site! Have saved tons of money because of it and am working on stockpiling sale items. I may never pay full retail for toothpaste again.

    I haven't been to HT for the triples this time because the WashPost hasn't had many coupons under $1 (HT will triple coupons up to 99cents).

    You can find "extra coupons" in The Times newspapers (i.e. Loudoun Times and Fairfax Times--and other local circulars). The local Fairfax and Loudoun Libraries have the newspapers for free sometimes.

    Also, look for the Red Plum and Smart Source coupons online. Glad Hot Coupon World's site is informative. I post on there under "Foodie", of course!:)

    They've had Super Doubles a couple of times recently where they double coupons with a face value of up to $1.98.

    I know a lot of people think HT is too expensive but if you wait to buy stuff on sale and use coupons, you can save a lot. My grocery shopping trip today cost me $83 for $183 worth of groceries.
