10 Year Anniversary

    Well, today is my ten year anniversary of being a member of the Broadlands Forum. My, my, my how time flies, and I am still one infraction away from getting banned for life.

    Really thou, this ain't about me. I just want to say this forum is fantastic. Well run, interesting, and a valuable part of the community. Thank you forum administrators and those who maintain this site. Thank you to the participants who without this site would be nothing.

    Now as long as someone doesn't try to build another hospital in town, I should be just fine here for another ten years.

    I wouldn't be surprised if she went to another forum and pulled the same stunt after it was discovered she was having a conversation with herself using a half-dozen usernames she had created here. I went back and looked up some of those old threads and the conversations/exchanges she was having between her usernames still makes me laugh/cringe. I do hope she sought professional help though.

    It was lively to say the least and in retrospect I think the discussion served it's purpose.

    At the end of the day the Broadlands Hospital lost out to a well conducted, huge pocketed, and superior political machine in the Inova cabel.

    And we still sit here 10 years later with no competition to Inova's monopoly. You have to admire Inova's clout in this County. Good or bad.
