So, during the snow storm I put some tires I was going to replace in the bed of my truck to add weight to the rear. Recently my wife had to take them out of the truck and was having trouble putting them back. I had surgery so I was unable to help.

They sat in the driveway this week until today. It would appear that either the tires got up and walked away with the rims ( they were attached ) or someone helped themselves to them.

So if you see 4 tires hanging around some place let me know if they rolled away.

This was on Welby and the tires are GM truck tires.

Do you think it's even worth calling the cops?
I guess I should though in case there are liability issues.
Need to put cameras back up so that I can monitor what's going on in front of the house.
Wonder if anyone would notice a small wireless pinhole camera in the tree in front of my house?

I am guessing this is at least a $1,000 theft. Definitely call the cops.

In Virginia, larceny of an item(s) with a value of $200 or more is considered 'Grand Larceny'. Under $200 would be classified as a 'Petit Larceny'.

Grand larceny is an unclassified felony with a specific punishment assigned by the code section of not less than one year in prison but not more than twenty or in the discretion of a jury or judge trying the case, a jail sentence of not more than 12 months and/or a fine not to exceed $2,500. Petit larceny is a class 1 misdemeanor offense.

Whoever took your tires is in serious trouble; definitely file a police report. You would be surprised how some items simply 'turn up' and if you have a report filed, you have a better chance of getting your hands on your stuff.
