We just moved to the area and the HOA docs are in a box....somewhere in the pile.

Does anyone know the requirements or restrictions on putting a small shed in the back yard? We back to trees and I was considering one of the 12x10 types from Home Depot.

    Appreciate any feedback.

    thanks,
    Chris

You can get the HOA guidelines at the HOA office in the Nature Center. 12 by 10 exceeds the guidelines. I believe 8 by 10 is the norm, with some exceptions made for slightly larger sheds on a case by case basis.

Do the sheds if within guidelines, still have to be submitted for approval?

Yes, ALL sheds must receive approval. You'll need to show style and color of shed as well as location on the lot. Some screening may be required depending on the circumstances.
