Addresses of Pools? ASAP if possible ...

    OK - I'm one of those Broadlands homeowners who faithfully pays their dues yet (in the 3 years I've lived here) has never been to one of our pools.

    I have the times for each pool from the last newsletter, but no street addresses for each pool. Can someone post the actual street addresses and not just the street name (for example, the Summerbrooke pool is on DeMott ... but where on DeMott?) for the three pools? I'd like to visit one tomorrow (July 4th).

    I'm not sure about the addresses of the pools, but an easy way to see where they are located is to check out the Broadlands maps we have on our site:

    The SouthernWalk pool is located across the street from the Nature Center. There is another pool at the Community Center.

    I do not have the exact addresses of each pool but I can try to discribe the areas to you. But Mr Linux's map is probably easier to follow.
    Summerbrooke is on Demott which is the road straight in front of you as you leave the Safeway shopping center (the only one you can turn left and right out of) Demott runs from the Safeway south to Waxpool road Approximatley 2/3 of the way down demott towards Waxpool you will see summerbrooke on your left.
    Community Center pool is on Waxpool road next to our community center. If you know where the Shell station and Wachovia bank are you are very close to the pool. If you are traveling West on Waxpool from Clairborne parkway towards the Shell station the pool will be on your right as you come up the hill. It is before you get to the Shell station (there is a big stone house and open field on your left known as Hillside park)
    Southernwalk pool is located on Village Drive if you are familiar with the Nature center in southernwalk it is directly across Claiborne parkway from there. If you are driving south on claiborne away form Waxpool you will see the pool on you left (it should be the 2nd left you can take ) before you get to Ridgeway/Wynridge.
    I hope all these directions help. Just make sure you have your pool passes with curent stickers with you or you will not be allowed in even if you do find one of the pools.

    Summerbrooke 10 to 8
    Community center 12 to 9
    southernwalk 11 to 8

    Open 12-9pm daily. Lap swimming 6-8am Tues & Thurs.

    Southern Walk ("Diving Board Pool"), 43081 Village Dr, 571-223-1331
    Open 11am-8pm daily. Lap swimming 6-8am Weds.

    Open 10am-8pm daily.

    Just a quick note for anybody who is looking the southernwalk pool will be opening late today July 4th thanks to some vandals that broke in over night and threw charis, and trash into the pool. It will be open as soon as the police arrive and take a full report and the mess is cleaned up. Sorry for any inconvience
