My attic air conditioner unit is blowing cold air VERY weakly. A few days ago, it was working just fine. THe drip pan is half full of condensation water and the vents are blowing cold air very weakly....Not sure what is causing the unit to blow the cold air weakly throughout the top floor.
Water from the drip pan is now leaking through the floor into the second bedroom ceiling in one spot so I turned off the ac. :(:(:(

Can anyone recommend a very good, honest, and affordable AC company who can repair this stuff? I just moved into this area so I don't know which company to select in this area. So could someone kindly help?

    Many thanks!
    Sean

    Hi Sean
Call Sonny at Climatic. He replaced our units when the compressor blew last summer and I have recommended him to several people all of whom have been very happy. I hope yours is just a fix not a replacement. He was the best priced replacement and very honest (I have not had experience with his service side)703-779-7455

There are some referrals here. I second Climatic but have heard good things about R.A. Dobson.

AD Plumbing and Heating is who I use. I have been using them for years and trust Anthony to do what he says he will. He installed a second unit in the attic for me about 4 years ago.

    AD Plumbing and Heating (703-421-9550)

    Good Luck!

We use R. A. Dobson and have been very pleased with their service. We chose them after having a horrible experience with B & B, so I am very leary of these companies. They were listed in Washington Checkbook as a good HVAC company.

make sure you clean out your drain lines -- they can build up with gunk

Hi there, not sure if you found someone yet but we recommend: Steve Thomassaon 703-708-9227. He's the owner. He's serviced and replaced our AC as well as Heating units (and several of our neighbors). He also delivers a case of filters for the units and our humidifier each year for a decent price. He and his crew are nice guys with great service at competitive prices.
