Gross! We haven't had that experience yet, and hopefully we won't!

(On a side note, isn't it nice to be able to use these forums for a useful purpose for a change? This is the function I'm sure they were designed to serve. I'm sure it won't be long before the forum terrorists take over this thread, too, though... :()

What about the poor mice! They deserve to live too! They're just looking for a home and some nourishment! :)

    I kid...I hate mice...

You anti-mice people really get me riled up. These mice you speak of are probably teenagers who have nothing else to do in our community. Of course we could blame the mouse parents for not teaching them the proper respect of humans' houses much less the whole legality of "mouse-in-house invasion". Why just the other day I saw a mouse poop in my yard, and I am talking a massive BM here! It took me 2 garbage bags to clean it up.

This is strictly meant as humor and not to belittle the importance of the other thread.

So, by putting out the soda pop, you're not only exploding the mice/rats but attracting more ants by providing a food supply...

Well Dutch, at least you are using a shotgun, less chance of it penetrating your neighbors walls.

Not me, 45 or at least a 9mil. If I miss a bad guy, I at least hope for some collateral damage. HMMMM, maybe I can take mouse out at PDONNA's house.

I've decided I am actually a terrible surrogate mouse parent, and I think these critters should be taken away from me. Where is that christian home that parentally abused chilren are taken?

We recently started using our grill again and lo and behold, my hubby opened up the cover and found a mouse in there with a nest all made up for his comfort......he ran away when he was found....then just last night - again - another mouse in our grill....he got a little singed this time [}:)] Our neighbor found a mouse family hiding in his grill - with two babies....so be on the outlook when you take your cover off your grill:D Also - we found two dead chipmunks in our basement....we called Critter Control and they said they were getting in thru the outside gas meter....we plugged the hole - no more problems. We also have quite a fews holes in our yard - have been told they are voles...(field mice). UGH and those cicadas are coming soon...that's a whole different problem.

Ah, "Broadlands was designed around the principle that nature would always play an important role within the community" I see they take that seriously... I just didn't think they meant in my basement ;>
