Well, it's down again. My modem can't connect. Sigh. I suppose I'll have to actually call tech support and have them read me the manual.

It's back now. I don't know how long it was down, but I couldn't connect for 40 minutes. And it's better than it has been lately. Maybe they "fixed" something?

I'm seeing serious routing issues on Adelphia tonight. Looks like it started around 5pm today and as of 10pm, the issues are still there.

Some websites come right up, while others simply cannot be reached. Amazon is totally inaccessible, but many other smaller sites are fine, as is Google (intermittently) and Yahoo. Amusingly, the adelphia.net webpage comes up, but their www.adelphiapowerpage.com isn't viewable.

Traceroutes are excruciating to run for some reason, but roundtrip times are fine. Seems like a serious routing issue to me...

I'm located in the townhome section near Demott & Vestals Gap. My neighbor 2 houses down is also affected...

Anyone else seeing anything like this tonight?

I am having the same issues - as of this morning, I had no access at home. I had called last night and gotten the message that there is an outage in the area and that techs are working on it....

I was back up late last night, around 12:30am... So far, it's rock solid again... [fingers crossed]

Funny ... yesterday I was reading that Adelphia finally completed its transactions with Comcast & Time Warner on Aug 1st. Then yesterday my cable went out (along with phone and internet) for about 15 minutes.

Thought to myself .. "Sure .. they take over Adelphia's assets, along with their outages !!"
