    I agree...I agree...I agree...I agree...I agree...

His books have sucked lately. There will never again be anything quite like Red Storm/Cardinal/Sum of All Fears/etc.

Rainbow Six was quite good. I enjoy the Clark/Chavez series more than the Ryan series anymore, more gadgetry and tatical stuff than politics.

I would agree with you about the tactical v. political preference. But it seems to me that the early Ryan books were mostly based on operational stuff, with the political stuff in the background. It wasn't until Ryan became VP/President (Debt of Honor?) that you started seeing all of the geo-political story lines.

It seems to me that Brim has just participated in a discussion with a small group of people about a book.

Well PD, flattery will get you everywhere- I accept. Let's toss around ideas for a book and a good day to meet. I am about to buy a book called </u>No Back Up </u> by Rosemary Dew. It is a true story about a woman in the FBI and her experiences, etc. However, I am open to reading anything. I think Tuesday nights would be good- unless it becomes a mom's book club and we do it with the kid's in tow- then I am available during the days as well.
