    I just tried to post a link to a Mitsubishi TV web site in
    * Community Broadband & Computers
    ** HDTV and Tivo connections

    The URL combines the word Mitsubishi with TV. After I posted
    the link, I noticed the URL was broken and missing the last
    three letters of the company name and the first letter of TV.
    Seems like the forums are set up to edit out bad language but
    are catching a legitimate URL and making it impossible to post.
    Is this auto editing necessary? If so, can't URL's be exempt
    from the rules so this is not an issue?

    Nope, the software does not support that. We'll check into it in the new software we will be using in the future however.

    Thanks,

    If it's too many characters, you can always use www.tinyurl.com to condense it. Maybe that works better?

    Or you can just write the url with a space in it and tell people to copy and paste it in their browser, then delete the space.
