I want to wish everyone in the forums--as well as the entire Broadlands community--a Happy Holiday season. That wish goes out to all, including:

-those who support HCA,
-those who question the hospital,
-those who oppose HCA,
-those who want more information on the hospital issue,
-those who just don't know what HCA or the hospital issue is,
-those who classify themselves as liberals,
-those who classify themselves as conservatives,
-those who deftly defy labels,
-those who manufacture labels,
-those who spin,
-those who take spinning classes,
-those who spin their wheels in the snow,
-those who want to help the poor,
-those who want to end (oops, cut) programs to help the poor,
-those who like scientific survey techniques,
-those who like shredders present when counting surveys,
-those who did not receive surveys,
-those who don't know what a survey is,
-those who want a four-way stop at Claiborne/Broadlands,
-those who want a stop-light at Claiborne/Broadlands,
-those who want people to learn how to drive and stop griping about traffic at Claiborne/Broadlands,
-those who only eat veggie,
-those who sometimes eat veggie, and
-those who prefer meat.

And, if I left anyone out, I wish you a Happy Holiday, too!

Twas the night before Christmas and all through Ashburn,
Not a resident was sleeping from all that was learned.

Was HCA coming or were they to go?
Was a stop light to guide us or would the answer be no?

Will the new B.O.S care for our needs,
Or will growth just continue because of the greed?

Is Broadlands as tranquil as it would appear?
Is the metro rail coming, and… OH what a fear?

Is competition good or is it real bad?
Our neighbors are fighting and isn’t that sad!

We all have our viewpoints, and some are quite odd
We wave to each other or just give a nod.

We all love our parks ,our churches and schools.
We love all our starbucks, our paths and our pools.

We only are doing what is best for our hood,
But agreeing on this is posing no good.

We all moved here because of the plan.
And are fighting to preserve our own piece of land.

So keep this in mind when you do close your eyes.
Our points are all different but they all aren’t lies!

So now go enjoy the holiday season,
Ashburn is better for just one good reason.

We all want the best and less is not right
So now go enjoy this holiday night.
