Went last night. This place is not hurting. Monday night and it was pretty full. Nice to see. Had been to Leesburg location, but not here.

Have to give it an absolute RAVE for its burgers. I know we've all debated the burger choices around here, but haven't heard this place in the mix and need to tell you that they are awesome. Monday is 1/2 price burger night and for $4.50 I had the Royale With Cheese. SOOOOOOO good. Hand formed, not packed, looser, juicier burger than others. Nice charbroiling. Fantastic roll.

T8erman was good and had halibut and asparagus risotto that was very very good also.
Can't believe we had not been here before.

If you can avoid any middle-school rumbles in the parking lot, try it out.

I took my 8 year old out for a special dinner there Sat night and it was truly special. Great service, seated immediately (Caliente was a 45 min wait- they did take my cell phone number and did call to see if we would still like to come eat- but we were finished with our meal at BRG).
We had really great shrimp cocktail to start- it was nice and cold, nice punch of bay seasonin dusted on top- great cocktail sauce with a meaty horseradish.
I had a merlot- can't remember what kind but it was very nice. She had a shirley temple with about 72 cherries in it.
She had fried shrimp with asparagus and it was super yummy.
I had lobster tail and filet with a loaded baked potato. It was a great cut of meat and cooked (or not- always get it rare:)) perfectly, the lob was perfect- not chewy or raw, just right and served with drawn butter. I had asked for extra chives, I got extra chives.
We were too full for dessert and had leftovers to take home.
Wonderful wonderful restaurant. We will be back again!!!
I would like to try Caliente out sometime soon too. Maybe we could do a Broadlands night there.

I can't say enough good things about BRG. I've yet to have a bad meal there and service is top notch.

BRG sets its standards high for their management, employees, and food. The result is how great their service and food is. I have heard complaints in the past about their somewhat inconvenient take-out policy (no phone orders and none on weekend evenings. The reason they do that is to insure quality for the in-house experience.

Love BRG. Have you had the chicken piccata? Heaven on a fork. :D

I second the chicken piccata. It's hard to try anything else on their menu after having that!

I've got to get in on this discussion...

I LOVE BRG. The steaks are good, the burgers are good even the plain old chicken sandwich is good.

But the BEST thing by far is the house salad with the candied pecans. They'll even put grilled chicken on it---which is heaven on Earth.

I hope they keep up the good work!! Yum Yum!

A word about their service - they have the "team" approach, similar to Sweetwater Tavern. You never have to wait for anything and you really get the feeling that everyone there cares about your happiness.

We eat there every weekend. EVERY weekend. It's the only time our 3.5 year old eats a lot of food. Love, love, LOVE BRG! In fact, our family now gives us BRG gift cards for birthday gifts!

The only negative thing I can think to say about BRG is the funky bug-zapper type lighting fixtures they have in the front of the restaurant. Anyone else think these look incredibly out of place??

Aren't those outdoor heaters and not bug zappers/light fixtures?

We love BRG and try to go once a month since we also try to eat at a few other places too.

I think she's talking about the hanging light fixtures inside. They do resemble oversized bug zappers (especially with the florescent light tubes). Not the most attractive lights I have ever seen.

Yep, those are the ones I'm talking about. I know the fixtures outside are heaters. Those light fixtures are not attractive esp with the florescent lights. But the food is still terrific.

I haven't noticed the other light fixtures you're talking about. I must be really clueless! (quiet T8, Kaosdad, and others....)

We ate there again last night. Again, consistent food, service, etc. And it was pretty busy.

And the light fixtures you're talking about are the ones over the tables?

I agree, great food. Fantastic service. The lighting fixtures that I'm talking about are in the front of the restaurant. They're huge and they hang from the ceiling. They look like bug zappers. And it doesn't help that they are florescent. I'll still eat there twice a week but really they should have gone with something a little more attractive. This argument is not valid if the artist that created the lighting fixtures was a local artist. Then I love them. Gotta support the locals, ya know.
