Had dinner at the Bonefish grill last night for the first time and found their Ahi tuna entree rather nice, can anyone else recommend any of their other dishes?

The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer is a must. I have had the Grouper once with the lemon butter and once with the tomato lime sauce. Both times excellent. My wife is very fond of the Mahi with the mango salsa

We ate there for the first time on Sunday night. I had the sea bass w/ lime tomato garlic sauce and didn't really care for it...the wife had the fliet which tasted about like it does anywhere else. The crab cake appetizer was pretty good, especially the sauce it came with (can't remember what it was called). All in all, it was a decent place but I'll be trying something different next time.

edit: I think the bartender may be dyslexic there. I ordered a rum and coke and I think it was made with one shot of coke and filled with rum rather than the other way around. I had to cut it with some of my wife's diet coke so that it was drinkable...you could have sterilized for surgery with that drink. (not that this is a bad thing)

I've been out to a few places when I've ordered a drink that was clearly not mixed right. Usually the bartenders are very cooperative if you ask for it to be redone.

I have to second OP_DUDE on the Bang Bang Shrimp...it is a must have! We've actually gone to Bonefish (or Fishbone as my husband likes to call it! [8D] ) for just drinks and appetizers since the BBS is our all time favorite.

We've been pleased with all the entres we have tried there thus far but again, the BBS stands out as the most unique menu item to us that we've not found comparable to anywhere else.

Thank you for all the suggestions, I overlooked mentioning that the parmesan trout was also very tasty. As far as the drinks go unless I am fixing the mixed drinks I prefer to stick to good ol' Jack Daniels on the rocks, the only thing that can mess that up is not enough ice...easily corrected.

Come think of it "Mojito" weather is upon us maybe I'll whip up a batch soon. For those of age...visit this link to get an easy recipe for a classic summer time Cuban favorite (Mojito)

I'd be a fool to send back a drink with too much alcohol in it, especially for what most places charge for a mixed drink nowadays.

I'd just ask for a glass of the mixer and an empty glass and water it down.

I thought about that, but I just drank about half of it real quick and cut it with her diet coke. Good way to get a good buzz going, I guess. :)

I hear what you are saying but I had to do that about 2 weeks ago at the Sports Bar. I ordered a pina colada and it had so much rum I simply could not drink it. I asked the bartender to add more pineapple juice for me but she was kind enough to remix the whole drink.
