Someone has been digging plants and trees from areas along the Boulder Glen path that are not marked for the exercise stations. An area near a large rock has been completely wiped out of everything. Someone seems to think the whole path is up for grabs.

As previously stated. Please DO NOT take plants or trees from areas outside of the pink tapes marking the potential exercise areas.

The developer has agreed to look into an alternate location for the exercise equipment. This new location might reduce the amount of flora removed. So stay tuned.

In my opinion this exercise equipment is a horrendous idea.
If the developer needs to be released from the proffer, have them plant more trees instead of installing 10 stations that will allow people to loiter around homes on the path.
Having grown up in Burke Center where these stations existed I have seen how they are a total waste of $ - unused, need to be maintained, and why cut trees and growth away so people can do chin ups.
    RANT RANT RANT.

Chill Baby. This is not a done deal yet. Many others feel as you do. Of course there are many who want the exercise equipment too.

Our equipment will be similar to what is on the trail at Silo Creek (just on the other side of the toll road as you leave Broadlands via Waxpool Rd.)

The develooper has a greed to investigate an alternate site that is more "out in the open".It was brought to their attention (by a wise and observant resident) that less trees will need to be removed and also that since there is less cover in this alternate location the loitering and mischief might be reduced. So stay tuned.
