So today was the second time I've been out for a run and come to the pedestrian wood bridge on the path near the barn behind Clyde's only to find it was totally flooded out and I had to turn around and go back the way I came. I was surprised because I didn't think it had rained that much recently.

Looking for ideas here to let people know before they head down the path that they will have to come back out the way they went in because the bridge is flooded.

Ideas off the top of my head:
    1. If you go for a walk / jog / bike ride and see the bridge is flooded, would you post something here or in the Sports section of the forum to let others know? I will check this forum before I head out on a run in the future to see if anyone has posted about the trail conditions, and I'll post something here if I go out and find something of note on the trail.

    2. Question for the HOA - Could we post a flip sign on the eastern end of the trail where it comes out on Broadlands Blvd? If someone goes in and finds the trail flooded and has to come out the same way, they can flip the sign to the "bridge flooded" side. When someone makes it through and it's not flooded, they can flip the sign to the "clear" side.

It is not the HOA's property. It is owned by Van Metre.
