Our family gave it a try this week and thought it was great. We had excellent service. I don't think the hordes have found it yet as it is hidden towards the back of the building on Shellhorn. I really liked the burger and the sauces are fun. I'd rate BurgerFi's burger a little higher, but Burger21 is easier to get to and has better service. I like Burger21's burger better than Fuds and 5 Guys. I hope they do well. It will be interesting to see how they do once Way Back Burger opens up just a few yards away.

We've seen saturation on the froyo front, now on to burgers! wonder what's next...

May the best burger win! Have to admit, Burger 21 is very engaged with the local and business community and is a member of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce. They've got my vote!

My family wanted to try this place but we went somewhere else as their Kid's menu did not have any vegetarian burgers available as it was available only for adults. I'll have to try the place for myself only to see how the food is.

I agree that all the Frozen Yogurt, Pizza, Burger, Thai, and Indian places are over-represented in this area (All have similiar products but slightly different prices). Time will tell which ones will fall by the wayside due to either rising prices and/or poor customer service. Differentiation is going to be critical here and they are going to have to work extremely hard to retain their customer base as that is their bread and butter. I'm surprised that Chipotle is pretty popular around here and they always have a long line -- California Tortilla doesn't seem to have the same business generation as Chipotle does as Calif. Tortilla has a wider variety of products available and for a little extra, they offer drink and a side.

A word of warning to ask for your burgers well done. When we ordered, we were asked if "a little pink" was alright, and we said yes. I thought my burger was good, but my daughter's was woefully undercooked..and with all the recent issues with food poisoning related to undercooked hamburger, to me that is potentially dangerous. When we brought it to the attention of the manager, he said "that is medium" and made no effort to make it right. Probably won't be back.

The burgers / shakes are delicious. The managers and staff are clueless about service. If you yelp, you will easily find my review.

I've been there twice and had good food and service (not that there was a need for any special service other than ordering, paying, and receiving the food). So far so good for me anyway.

We've been there twice and although pricey, they are some of the best burgers I've ever had. Tex Mex Haystack OM NOM. I always order medium, don't want them to overcook it =)

On the 21st of each month, Burger 21 donates 10% of their proceeds from that day to a local non-profit or charity. Tomorrow, March 21st, the donation will support Loudoun's First Responders. They'll have a firetruck at the store from 5:30pm - 9:00pm.

Kudos to Burger 21 for supporting local non-profits and charities. Bad timing for the First Responders since their day is on a Friday during Lent...at a burger place.

True, this month Burger 20 or Burger 22 might have worked out a little better.

How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat? Silly archaic traditions...

I liked but did not love Burger 21. I felt the meat was on par with Red Robin thought the rest of the deal, buns, toppings, fries, and shake were way better than RR. However I have not been back since the early part of the year; if I crave a burger I have gone to Kraze or Elevation for one.

Kraze was in Lansdowne right? didn't it close months ago? We went by once and the door was padlocked and it looked abandoned... Fosters is still one of my favorite burgers but now I have to go to chantilly for a charburger... worth the drive!
