So I moved into an apt complex and have not hooked up my cable yet. I connected the cable to the wall and to the tv. I get some basic channels, some have sound, some dont. Why is that??
We do not have broadband here. Just comcast.
I only get a few channels, but I dont get why I get sound on some but not all of them. Any idea why??

    Thanks!!

Yes, the majority of channels (on FioS, Comcast, Openband etc) are encrypted which requires either a cable card or set top box to "unlock" content...which is why you may see a picture and/or hear audio but not see a picture.
