    Dave-
You are a man after my heart! Beer, unfortunately, is looked down upon by the elites as alcohol for the slovenly masses!
I also consider myself a beer afficienado. If you ever want company at any of our brewpub establishments, let me know!

Just to update my earlier post, the manager of Panache did call us at home this afternoon and speak to my husband about our experience (apparently after seeing the message board). He was apologetic and did comp our meal. While this doesn't change our opinion of the place or taste to go back, it was honorable of him to call to try and address the situation.

I realize you may feel that he was just influenced by the forum. But, I would at least give them another try just to see if your bad experience was an anomoly.

Wife and I went in for lunch today. About 8-9 tables of people there. We were seated promptly and waited on promptly. Service from our waiter (probably the most professional waiter I've experienced around here) was impeccable. Food also arrived quickly. The owner stopped by once to see how everything was.
And the food was good, too.

It's a new restaurant cut them some slack, I have already been there a few times now and each time I go I find something else that I love to eat. Also, by the second visit the service was much improved, and I can tell you that Cafe Panache seems to be a new hot spot in town, so I would call head for seating for a FRiday Night.

Oh, I don't know. I think putting salad dressing on a dessert is a more than valid reason to complain.

I haven't been there yet, but the menu looks good. One of these days, I'll try it for lunch.

Yes, I agree, it was a mistake and the Server should've know better or should've check before dessert arrived to the table.
Other then that, I have not seen their lunch menu, but dinner is really good.

Just got back from dinner with our neighbors and I'll say that the food there is very good, but they seem to be very busy on Saturday nights, as we had to sit at the bar. Would recommend making reservations before hand. I will most likely go back again during a weekday evening.
I ordered the Steak Medium well and that is what I got.

Would definately recommend the place to anyone who was curious about it.

I spent my Valentines Day dinner at Cafe Panache this year. It was a great surprise. The menu, which was $120 per couple, was wonderful. The service was splended as well. We were greated by two young hostesses whom were very inviting and lovely. The water boy was very professional and brought us our bread promptly. Our server was one of the best in this area. Overall, our experience was very nice and i look forward to returning soon.

Likewise, although it is actually 'farm boy' in the movie. I doctored it to fit the post. ;)

DW and I went there and had a very pleasant meal. Not cheap, but not outrageous. The BRUNCH looks like it may be a great deal.

Just went for the first time this morning for brunch. It was great. We loved the environment, the food, and the service. They were even surprisingly kid-friendly. Brunch wasn't a bad deal - $16.95 for a three-course meal and mimosas. Selection on the appetizers and desserts is a bit limited, but what's there is excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Went to Cafe Panache for Sunday Brunch yesterday and WOW five out of five stars!

I have to agree with Cliff - I love Clyde's but Cafe Panache's Brunch is a much better value and the food was very tasty.

Our bill was just over $33 for the two of us and it included multiple mimosas.

We've already RSVP'd for their March Dinner and Wine event.

We went for the first time on Thursday & the entrees were pretty good. I also got a fun custom drink that turned out awesome:) However, I was disappointed in the kid's meals, boxed macaroni & cheese (came out very watery) and what seemed to be frozen pizza. They can definitely do better for the little ones!

Do you have to make reservations for the Sunday Brunch?

I know that they offer kids meals, but the "vibe" of the restaurant is a little more "adult". I'm not sure that I'd bring my two very well behaved daughters (8&12) there, unless it was Mothers Day Brunch. There are too many other restaurants in the immediate area that are actively seeking families as there core business.
This post is not meant as a judgement, just an observation that it appears this restaurant is targeting adults, not kids. You should bring your kids wherever you want, even fancy restaurants like the Palm or Chez Francois.
