I need to do this for our shower and - while I've not done anything like this before- was wondering if it was the type of thing I could endeavor to do myself. Any online resources for directions or you tube tutorials anyone would suggest?

Or, any trained professionals I should just go ahead and call instead? :)

    Thanks!

Yea just search on Youtube there are a bunch of these tutorials there. Just make sure you use silicone caulk. You can ask at Home depot for them to show you if needed.

I think this is something you can do yourself - not that hard. Use your finger to smooth out the line and just wipe away excess.

    good luck

It should come off easily enough using some sort of hard, straight edge. I use a spackle blade. There is also some stuff (Home Depot) that will soften the old caulk if you prefer.

Yea try to clean out the old caulk really well. You want a clean area for the new caulk to stick.
