I did not see any posts about Cheeburger Cheeburger yet, so I thought I'd start. I picked up take out from them last week--burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches were good, plus the customer service was great! Another added bonus was that the entire resturant is smoke-free!! We'll definitely be eating there again.

Now, if only the Pei Wei would hurry up and open...

We tried it about a week ago. The burgers were ok. The onion rings were very good. They have a huge shake/malt menu. I took a taste of the kids' and they were pretty yummy. It cost us $45 for lunch for a family of five - three ordering off of the kids' menu.

I just looked at the menu and the choices sound good but it doesn't look like any of the burgers or chicken sandwiches come with fries. If the fries are extra, I can see how that might get a bit expensive for a fast food style restaurant. Is it a fast food restaurant or more of a regular restaurant?

    1/3 lb. burger = $5.99
    Small Fries = $1.99
    Fountain Drink = $1.89
    Total = $9.87

Probably about on par with the price at Red Robin, but definitely not Five Guys. I'm not saying that's bad, I just don't know if it is supposed to be competing with fast food or sit down restaurants. ???

I guess it's a "fast casual". You get seated by someone and have a waiter come to your table. They have a separate carry-out counter. There are rolls of paper towels on the tables instead of napkin dispensers. The kids eat out of paper cars, but hubby and I had regular dishes. It's supposed to have a diner type styling to it.

I see. I just looked at the pictures from the website and it appears to be a diner, which would explain the shakes and malts and the prices being higher than fast food. I guess it's a bit more expensive than Foster's Grille by the Home Depot, though.

Don't waste your time, our family ate there this past weekend and the food was not great. And all fried food is cooked in peanut oil. Again peanut oil. For those allergic this is not an option. Just like 5 Guys is not an option. But I digress...

At Cheeburger, the service was slow, slower than the "please allow 15 minutes for fresh burgers". Also the burgers were all well done, even though we ordered medium. I had to plead with the manager to allow our children's burgers to be cooked medium as well, instead of their well done recommendation for all children's pattys. They ended up subbing a medium burger and cutting it in half. They knew I had kids looking forward to the cool presentation of kids cars to hold the kids meals. But that was not subbed. They are not concerned with great customer service.

The manager was unconcerned with our unhappiness at slow wait or improper cooking of burgers. He knew we were unhappy with the meal and said sorry and walked off. He said sorry like a flat sorry with no eye contact or meaning.

The server had to be tracked down to refill drinks. We will not be back.

The best burger here? We are still looking. I guess the closest we've found to tasty has been Herndon Fuddruckers. Yuck to Fosters too.

Thank you. I have the same rant about both places as well. Also, I've heard that Cheeburger Cheeburger has peanut butter as a burger topping. That pretty much nixed us going there.

Lunch last week was very good. I'd rate the burgers above five guys and fosters. Numerous burger selections. That's saying a lot as I like both of them. It's nice to have table service. Onion rings very good. I'll go back.

I had no problems at Chee/Chee and would recomend it to others. But I like my burgers well done. I like all the toppings they offer and the onion ring sauces are off the hook good. Even though they cost a little, go for 2 sauces.

I tried Cheeburger shortly after it opened and found no problems, aside from being a Pepsi shop ;) It was very 50's diner-like and the service was good. While the burger was fine, I personally prefer 5 Guys or Fosters. As far as my rating, I'd say 5 Guys, followed by Fosters, then a tie between Fudd's and Cheeburger. While I don't see myself driving past the other three purely to go to Cheeburger, if I am already in that area and am hungry for a burger then I see no reason why I wouldn't return.

While we are on the subject of good burgers, and in spite of my share of service problems at Glory Days - I have to say that the last couple of burgers I've had there have been pretty darn good. My last trips to Fosters have been pretty bad - overcooked burgers, and (pet peeve) why do I always get the ends of the tomato on my burger???!!!

I was also pretty impressed with Chee - - felt it was far less greasy than 5 guys. Our last Foster's trip could have been made into a video on how bad a restaurant could be and we will not be back. And I had a dead fly in my salad last trip to Glory Days.

I will chalk it up to a string of bad luck on the burger front.

The fries and onion ring combo was oustanding at Cheeburger!

Traffic in that Wegman center is beyond dismal - - very poor planning. They had two policeman directing on new years -

well i love a great burger- and am a big fan of fosters. they've always cooked my burgers perfectly, and if they HAVE overcooked it- they've quickly fixed the problem. i've hac CHee Chee in ft Lauderdale and fell in love- it was an amazing burger.

but this one disappointed me greatly medium well=hockey puck well done. too much on the toppings- no balance between that and the size of burger and bun. fries were overcooked, onion rings under cooked. i will try them again once the fervor dies down, but my first impression... not worth my money yet...

I can only put in my plug for Linda's again, in Sterling on Church Rd. They advertise "Best Burgers" and I've always had good burgers there at a good price, compared with any of the other burger joints around here.

We've eaten at Linda's twice and attempted to eat there twice. When we did eat there the food (breakfast) was simple and good, but the atmosphere leaves a lot to desire. Two other times we tried to go there at dinnertime (around 6pm) and found them closed.
