Need Advice Cleaning Service?

I'm having a baby soon, and I wanted to get a cleaning service to come in while I'm in the hospital. This would be a one-time thing or possibly just a few times a year. Any recommendations?

I've been using H&R Maids for over a year now and have been pleased. I find the owner, Tony, really easy to work with.

We did use H&R Maids, but because of the lack of communication we moved to a company called Laura's Cleaning Service. Laura and her husband Sergio are easy to work with. http://laurascleaningsite.com/

 

We use Maids Cleaning Service (http://www.maidcleaningservice.com/), and have been for 2 yrs. They were recommended from my parents, who have been using them for around 5 yrs. I see many folks in the area use them as well - we see their vans driving around the neighborhood and parked in neighbors driveways. The main reason I went with them, aside from the referral, is b/c they work collaboratively with me on the cleaning of my home. After the initial service, the called to follow up and make sure that everything was cleaned to my liking, and made immediate corrections to anything that I pointed out. They've been extremely responsive to my request, as well as calling to let me know if there is going to be any delays in cleaning that day. The convenience of leaving a check on the counter or using my credit card is a plus too. They also work on Saturdays, which is helpful for if we're entertaining that evening - one less thing to worry about while running around preparing for an event.

I agree - we have been a client of H & R on and off 5+ years. On a few occasions (shortly after Tony's wife had another baby) we were not entirely satisfied with the service, but a call to Tony and he would send the crew back out (usually the same day). Tony is very accommodating and truly cares about his customers.

 

I tried to work with H&R on two different occasions. The first time they made an appointment to come to my house to give me an estimate - they never showed up and never called either. The second time (about a year later), they gave me an estimate over the phone. I asked to make an appointment for a cleaning and they said they would have to call me back (something about not having their appointment book handy). Never received a return phone call.

 

would someone please recommend a cleaning service that you are REALLY happy with. No marginal or average recommendations. We have average now and my wife is very picky. Please send me your best cleaning service recommendations.

I use (and 6 of my neighbors) Luz's cleaning service. We've used them for more than 3 years and have been very happy with the job they do. Their prices are also very reasonable. They do my 6 bedroom 5.5 bathroom house for $175.00
