My townhouse backs right up to the greenway and I would be against an ugly wall... we grew used to the sound after about a week... it's definately not as bad as I thought... I would rather back to the road than other townhouses..

You probably won't see a workout/racquetball/indoor pool facility until the YMCA starts building.

The Clyde's amendment application was approved by the Land Use Committee 3 to 0. It goes for final approval at the next BOS meeting.

Today, the Board of Supervisors unanomously approved the Clyde's amendment and all approvals have been received for proceeding with construction.

Congratulations everybody! I wasn't able to stay for the vote, but saw Cliff speak--he did a great job.

In the Nature Center we now have some large artistic renderings and site plan maps for the Clyde's restaurant.

Any word on when they hope to be open? I haven't driven by in a while to see if the construction has even begun. Thanks.

It will take a long time to get the basic infrastructure (IE: sewer, water, drainage) done on the site. I really don't expect to see anything as far as foundations in before May or June.

Right now they're looking at a mid-2006 opening. This was also covered in the Developers Update, a synopsis of which is in the March Broadlands Newsletter which you should have recieved in the mail this past week.
