How early would I need to leave Broadlands to be at Tysons by 9:45am?

Take the new commuter bus to Tysons.

If that's not an option, I would give at least 1.5 hrs to get there.

You'd have to try that out a couple of different ways. It could take 1.5 hours as luftinarr indicated. Right now it's summer so I'd guess more like 1 hour. But it might also lighten up enough to make it in 30 minutes to be honest. I get to tysons between 7 and 7:30 and it takes me 30 minutes right now... but 45 in the school year. But traffic is much worse in the 8 o'clock hour.

Thanks! I lucked out and got there in 30 (left at 9 and took the $Greenway$) but I'm glad to know it could be a much longer drive.
