Im trying to get XP installed on an older machine but it requires a minimum of 64 meg to install. This older machine uses a SIS 5571 chipset and my problem is that it does not recognize the full amount of memory on newer DIMM memory sticks. I was wondering if anyone is not using or would be willing to sell me an older (1996-1999) DIMM memory stick. I would need at least 64 meg on the stick or even 2 32 meg(or larger) SIMM chips would work as well. I know there are a lot of computer junkies like me that just keep all your old computer stuff eventhough you dont use it. And about every 2 months your wife complains about how you keep everything......:D
    Thanks in advanced!

Let me check when I get home today, I'm pretty sure I have some lying around unused.

Well I know I have a few sticks, but can't for the life of me find where I put them. I'll ask a neighbor and see if he has any.

Let me know if you find any. If not I may just go w/ a new M/B and CPU. That'll fix all my problems, but this would be easier and faster. Thanks again.
