For all you PC kitbashers, weekend geeks and AV nuts out there a parts store has moved into the area. Austin Tech is now in Beaumeade Park. Go as if you are going to the Post Office, but instead of turning left onto Filagree, turn right onto Beaumeade Cir. Keep bearing right until you come abreast of the store fronts, turn left, they are about half way down.

Their new store is wide open with lots of room to move and they have dropped their credit card surcharge. They carry everything from complete systems (specializing in Toshiba lappys) to bits & pieces. They also have a good selection of consumables like paper, blank CDs/DVDs and such. Alot of stuff you'd have to trek out to Best Buy for or pay a premium for at Walgreen's.

I went there yesterday. After turning off of LCP onto Beaumeade Circle toward the post office, make the first right into the parking lot. The place is small but has a wide selection of cables and connectors. It also has some of the other basics like case fans, network cards, routers, and so on. They also sell refurbished computers.
