Dangerous!

We are extremely pleased with the overall construction of our SFH. We lived only 1 mile away in our previous home, a VM TH. I often (4-5 days a week) would stop by and check out the construction and actually had a couple of minor things (e.g. outlet) corrected before drywall went up.
We also had an inspector who is a good friend (also had owned a VM home) and he was mildly surprised how well VM was building the house considering how many "bad" houses he had seen in the past.
In addition, my wife and I became friendly with Jerry C. over the years as often as we visited the VM models. He said that VM made a big effort in correcting alot of the building/customer service problems they experienced in the past. Being a previous VM owner, we agree that they have done much better.
