Winter Bird feeding
Learn the basics of feeder types, seed types, and just who to expect at our feeders. We'll build a bird feeder so you can start your own backyard bird feeding oasis. Bring a clean, empty half gallon milk carton. Make a natural ornament for the birds to eat and hang it on the nature center holiday tree..

Hibernate, Migrate, or Adapt?

What are our furry friends up to at this time of the year? How do cold blooded animals make it through the winter? Meet some of our nature center animals and talk about how they would survive the cold. . Make a natural ornament for the birds to eat and hang it on the nature center holiday tree.

Age level:4 and5 year olds
Eco-Elf Workshop
Celebrate the holiday season and out of doors by making a small eco friendly gift for a family member and reading a holiday story. We may go outside and collect items so dress for the weather.




All programs are $5.00 and will be held at the Nature Center unless otherwise stated.
Please call or stop by the Nature Center to register at least one day before the program is held.
A minimum number of 3 participants required or the program will be cancelled.
Please dress for the out of doors.
