No politics in this thread please! How long was your wait in line and at what time and at what polling location?

    Thanks!

I tried to go this AM at 6:30 and the lines were like nothing I've ever seen before -- cars parked all along the streets near Hillside. I might have to bring a chair when I go back! Will try again maybe around 11 or 2.

Hubby just voted at Eagle Ridge. He got there at 6:20 and the lines were out the door. He waited in line and within 45 minutes he'd voted and was out of there. He said it was crowded but well organized and someone even came outside to say anyone with name between A-C and G-I (or something like that) could come on in since those lines were very small once inside at that time. Sounds like they're working hard inside to handle the crowds.

I voted at Eagle Ridge and got there before polls opened. The line was very long but it went by pretty quickly. I got out of there in approx. 50 minutes.

I vote at Hillside and have to bring the kids with me. Guessing we'll be bringing a backpack of activities and snacks. Keep posting in this thread please! :)

As the others have said Hillside was a circus this morning at 6. I took one look and turned around to head to work. I was hoping to try again at 11 or 2 but it sounds like I'm not the only one with that idea

Its too bad they don't have the estimated wait times for the polling places like they do for the DMV.

It was 50 min wait at Hillside when I went at 6:15. Wife just went at 7:15, and wait is down to about 20 mins or less.

One point: Hubby said to bring your own pencil to speed up the process.

If you fill out the ballot with your own pencil you'll be out 30 seconds later. If you choose to wait in line for the touch screen or have to wait to use a pencil at one of the private booths, you'll wait longer. If you have your own pencil and just sit at the table and fill it out, you're good to go.

Just got back from Eagle Ridge. When I got there at 8:30 the line was still out the door. The whole process took me 25-30 minutes. As I was leaving, the line was no longer out the door. If you go now you can expect to wait 15 minutes I'd guess.

Just back from Hillside - in and out in 10 minutes. Longest wait time was 1 person in front of me at the check-in table. There are tables set up in addition to the booths.

I got to Hillside at 6:25 and was out at 7:15. Had a nice chat with Stevens Miller and caught up with some other neighbors so it was not bad at all. When I left, the line was probably done to 20 minutes or less. Mary Green the principal at Hillside said she'd never seen so many voters since Hillside opened.

9:25 Hillside - couple people deep at check in tables. A short wait for the electronic voting, but not for paper ballots.
