I wanted to throw emilio's pizza out there!! I know it's all the way over in sterling by belfort---but their pizza ROCKS!!!!! They have other food that is probably pretty good--but when you want to go and SIT down at a pizza place (i sure miss the good ol' pizza hut days as a kid), emilios is the place to go! or take it home if you wish. An XL pizza costs about $16, but well worth it!

I second the recommendation for Emilio's. It's fantastic. He's an awesome cook but has been limited due to the size of his restaurant. He's moving shortly. His new location is near the Harris Teeters on Route 7 (Towards Leesburg, I can't remember the shopping center). Once Emilio is working out of the new location, look for the menu to expand. Still worth the trip to his current location.

    woopity, afgm, and foodies:

Emilio's Pizza is great! We were at Tart Lumber recently and tried it for the first time! Pizza is woodfired and great! Fresh ingredients and great service. It is by Sterling Carpet in Sterling at the Belfort Park.

Emilio's is opening a 2ND restaurant where Lansdowne Town Center is being built (near new Lansdowne Harris Teeter). Loudoun Times (either the Times of Leesburg Today--cannot remember which paper!) recently ran an interesting article regarding the type of oven that Emilio's uses. Apparently, his brick ovens are imported from Italy (?) and has special features for baking the pizzas. If I can locate article, I will provide a link if you are interested. If you wish to check for yourself, I am thinking that the Loudoun Times Life and Business sections of the paper is where Emilio was featured in a local business story. Maybe two to three months ago?

    Good eats and Merry Christmas,

    Foodie

I totally agree!!! Their pizza is the best, well worth the trip. I'm Italian and very picky about my pizza and theirs fits my expectations! That's great news that they're opening another restuarant.

My co-workers and I were regulars there for like 2 years and got to know the staff well.

They are very hardcore about their food. Example: they drive to PA every week to buy special/specific flour to use.

    They rock!
