I just found that my daughter doesn't have a bus to ERMS this school year. This is a 20 minutes walk for her, and she has to cross Waxpool Rd on the way to the school. There is an underground crossing, but I am not sure kids are going to use it instead of running across the road. Also, the trail never gets shoveled right away. And what about rainy days? Crazy, just crazy... Apparently, this has been discussed for quite a long time now (http://www.theburn.com/2017/06/09/broadlands-school-walk-zone-perplexing-parents/ , http://www.theburn.com/2017/06/19/eagle-ridge-middle-walk-zone-leads-parent-meeting/, or http://www.theburn.com/2017/06/21/mistake-school-district-responds-concerned-parents/), but I've missed it somehow. What can we do about this? Where and how do we appeal (isn't it too late?) Is there a petition for concerned parents to sign?
