Can any one recommend a good specialist for Glaucoma? My regular "eye glass" doctor has been on the fence for 8+months on whether or not I am a pre-glaucoma candidate. From what I know, early treatment is a MUST. I need a doctor who can do a little more than guess. Prefer one that is "in-network".

    Thank you.

Dr. Niloo Ziai (pronounced "zee-eye-eee") of Virginia Eye Center near LHC specializes in glaucoma. She shows up in "Top Doctors" and is very thorough and prefers to stay on top of things, which - as you correctly point out - this condition requires. She also has a really caring and helpful staff.

I believe there is a range for "normal" eye pressures, which hopefully your OD has been tracking diligently. As you said, better to have it checked out... Good luck!
