Do any of you have any recommendations for finishing the basement?

Thanks in advance for your input.

    Kal,

We are getting our basement finished by Old Dominion Builder. The contractor's name is Dean Kephart. He started the business recently. We got excellent price/quote from him compare to others. He is very responsible and sincere person. We are very happy with his service. His phone number is 540-303-2208.

We can recommend Mike Rosario. He has other Broadlands references and lives in the neighborhood:

    703-862-0415 cell

He will be back from vacation on Tuesday morning but carries his cell.

How much does it cost to have your basement finished? Just a Ballpark figure?

it depends - bank on an average of 25k for a fully finished basement roughly 1200 square feet with bathroom, bedroom/office and rec-room area. this would be for electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpet or tile flooring and finish work. if you want extras like a kitchentte/bar it's obviously more.
