FiOS Phone and Internet

Here's a new one. I have the Verizon FiOS Triple Play - phone, internet, TV - and for the past week or so it happens that when I'm on the landline telephone the wireless internet disconnects. Once I hang up it reconnects. Has anyone else had this happen? It isn't a major problem but still kind of weird. I don't think it used to do that.

I guess I'll try Googling it...

 

Okay, so I read a suggestion somewhere to change the channel on the router. Done. We'll see if that works.

Seen this many times. Your wireless phone is interfering with the wireless router. Try changing the channel your phone is operating on or get a new phone. 5.8GHz phones have never interfered with my routers.

 

Last night I changed the channel on the wireless. I just called the home phone from my cell phone and the wireless connection stayed on. It may be fixed for now. We'll see how it goes.
