flicks in the sticks

    This was our first time attending the "Flicks in the Sticks" outdoor movie night and I have to say it was great! Thank you to the tech committee that puts this on -- this was a wonderful night activity for everyone.

    Anyone who hasn't gone, I highly recommend it. :D

    Next year we hope to run 6 movies - 2 per month. We're thinking of a kids movie one night and then a classic for the alternate night.

    The Tech Committee welcomes your suggestions for movies to view.

    Please note that I have a strong vote for Ice Age for the August 2006 kids movie, since the sequel "Meltdown" is due out in theatres in fall 06.

    Unfortuneatly, no. With school now back in full swing and evenings slowly getting a bit chillier (yes, I know it's been warm lately, but we like historical averages [:p]), it was decided that we would end the Flicks in the Sticks season no later than Labor Day. We welcome ANY comments from everyone though; this was our first year hosting this activity and we would like to build upon it. Many of you have taken the time to let us know how much you and your families enjoyed it. So please, any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
