Fox or Coyote?

the past two nights there's been howling and barking off of high view trail and whisper hill court. Has anyone else heard this and if so any idea if it's a fox? I sleep through 747 traffic but this beast has woke me up the past two nights. Thanks for any info.

If you hear a “bark” that is breathier and more consistent in pitch than a fox, it’s probably a white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus).

 

Yes. We heard the same thing about 230am on Friday morning and then again Friday evening closer to 11pm. It sounded a lot like the fox in the 2nd YouTube video above ...

 

I saw a fox darting across Broadlands Blvd under the greenway this morning around 6:45, so decent chance the noise you heard was a fox.

 

I've not heard the sounds but my dogs have been very active in the evenings stalking the edges of the fence. Very unusual for them so there is something is around for sure.
