    I have a pair of Stride Rite sandals, size 6.5M that I don' think my boys ever wore. If they did, it was once or twice, but I have no memory of it! They're much like this, except they're suede, not the shiny leather. There is also only a strap around the back of the foot/ankle, rather than the piece that goes all the way down by the heel as in this picture:
