Furnace out!

    Ok,, so here's what's going on.
    Took apart the front panel. The ignitor works well. It lights, stays on red for a bit. The LED light blinks once.

    To trouble shoot (well,, sort of ) I turned off the main switch to the furnace. wait for a bit (3-4min) then flip the switch back on, then the furnace kicks back on. It stays on for a bit (30min-hour) and shuts off again. :/

    This trick works 50% of the time.
    What do you think? time for a new furnace?
    it's a 12 year old unit.

    I think you need to clean the flame sensor with fine grit sandpaper.
