Gecko in my front yard!

    This afternoon we saw a little gecko in the front yard, which suprised me! After a little googling, my husband thinks it was a blue tailed day gecko. Now lets hope my cat doesn't find the cute little guy.

    It's probably an escaped pet. Unfortunately, I don't think it will survive the winter here.

    If it is a blue tailed skink, they live in VA.

    That's it, exactly, Maureen! I saw him twice today. That's it! Now that I know what it is, I'll have to figure out what they eat and make sure he has a nice habitat over the winter!!
