Good Veterinarian?

We used to take our yellow lab to the Fairlakes Petsmart to get his yearly shots etc. Now we have learned they are no longer offering that service. I am therefore in need of a good veterinarian in this area, that is good and is decent price wise. I would appreciate your advice and feedback.

There may have been a previous post on this subject with additional responsive info.

We use Catoctin Veterinarian, 703-777-8447. Dr. Pease is veterinarian, the practice is located in Leesburg. He has been fantastic for us, and I believe his rates are much more reasonable than others. Dr pease is wonderful. They are a reasonably priced and no nonsense clinic.

 

We go to Dominion Animal Hospital in Herndon. We've never had a problem with them, and I believe Saturdays they have a 50% off vaccinations deal.

 

Ashburn Farm Animal Hospital ... In the shopping center with Giant Food off of Claiborne and Ashburn Farm Pkwy.

Dr Pam Grasso is phenomenal.

Stream Valley is convenient, but VERY expensive!! I would definitely not recommend them, simply because of their pricing.

 

Here's another vote for Dominion Animal Hosptial in Herndon, VA. 703-437-6900.

 

Thanks for the info. I will check out these places and choose one of them. I do remember Dominion from when I lived in the Reston/Herndon area. Is that off of Elden Street?

Yes, it is off Elden Street in downtown Herndon (near the W&OD trail).

 

Stream Valley may be a bit expensive, but they are incredibly convenient, have late hours and Sat hours, have grooming and kennel services. We take our four dogs there and have been fairly happy with them, although a bit poorer for doing so!
